Weastec Attends Hillsboro High School Senior Showcase
Jim Tomko from the quality department and Dustin Lykins from human resources, represented Weastec at Hillsboro High School’s Senior Showcase on March 31, 2023. This event is an opportunity for Hillsboro’s Juniors and Seniors to speak with leaders from local businesses. Jim and Dustin reviewed both short term and long term opportunities with interested students. Weastec has some summer internships as well as full time opportunities. Students were able to see and discuss some of the technology that is produced at Weastec and learn about requirements for employment. This is an annual event at Hillsboro High School and Weastec has supported it since its beginning. Over 40 local businesses participated this year.
