At Weastec, our commitment extends beyond innovation and excellence in the automotive industry. We believe in being active contributors to the betterment of society and fostering positive change within the communities where we operate. As part of this commitment, we engage in various initiatives aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically those promoting an end to poverty, zero hunger, good health and well-being, quality education, sustainable cities and communities, and climate action. These global goals serve as a roadmap for a more sustainable future.
Weastec believes in supporting the communities that have allowed us to grow and prosper within their boundaries. Weastec as a corporation financially supports various local organizations that contribute to the welfare of our communities. Every year, contributions are made by Weastec associates, individually and collectively, to strengthen the communities around us. Whether they are collecting school supplies, working at a local food bank, or buying Christmas presents for local children, associates are always looking for ways to give back and support the local communities. Allowing our associates to serve is important. Therefore, we open opportunities for associates to volunteer during working hours. Annually, associates support Team Honda Cares by participating in weeklong service activities in Highland and Franklin counties.
