Weastec to reopen Greenfield Operation.

During the August 18 Highland County commissioners meeting, Weastec President Ohito Takahashi, Vice President Craig Miley and Senior Manager Robert Moots told county representatives that they will be reopening their facility in the Greenfield Industrial Park to some limited production assembly.  The plant has only been used for warehousing over the past decade.

Two semi-automated assembly lines will be moving to the Greenfield Operation in January of 2022. This is in response to new engine business that Weastec received from an existing customer. The operation will require fifteen associates and will included some technical positions. Everyone at Weastec is very excited about this expansion.

Weastec would like to thank the local support that they have been given by the Highland County Commissioners, the Village of Greenfield, the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, the Highland County Economic Development Agency and OhioSE Economic Development.  The support of these agencies has been invaluable in this project.
