Weastec Hosts Successful Blood Drive
As part of our Give Big Week, Hoxworth was able to bring the donation bus on-site to Hillsboro and take blood donations from 10am – 4pm.
A record number of participants registered to donate! 42 Weastec associates volunteered to donate and from those donations, the following totals were collected:
42 volunteers signed up to donate. This was more an one third of our associates.
29 units of blood were collected.
20 First Time Donors!
87 lives could be saved from these products.
The blood products that were collected will be used to supply the needs of over 50 hospitals in the Tri-State area!
Hoxworth was very grateful to Weastec associates for donating and helping to save lives!
