Weastec Creating Pollinator Field
In June, Weastec associates completed an environmental service project on the Hillsboro facility grounds.
Wildflowers were planted in an area on Weastec’s property. Beehives will be positioned on the hill in July to pollinate the new flowers and produce honey. Pap’s Hilltop Honey supplied the beehives to be placed on the hill. The harvest from the first year will be donated to those in need.
