Adopt a Family Holiday Festivities

As previously reported, Weastec partnered with Highland County Community Action this holiday season to help provide 41 kids throughout our community with presents to open on Christmas morning. This exceeded our goal by 11 kids! For their generosity, Weastec associates got to experience fun holiday festivities performed by some of the management team. Split between two weeks, associates received candy canes passed out by Debbie the elf, watched a trio of festive holiday dancing, wore jeans on a Friday in lieu of their uniform pants, got a visit from the Vice President Grinch, and administered festive pies into the faces of two production managers.

Debbie the elf tried to make sure everyone stuck to at least one of the four main food groups by passing out candy canes to all of the unselfish elves! The trio of dancers brought moves that would make the Sugar Plum fairies and the nine ladies dancing green with envy! And let’s not forget the Grinch – his heart grew not one, not two, but three sizes in a single day! To top it all off, the holiday pies served up the perfect sugary finale to the festive chaos! And as a little extra sweetness, one lucky employee got to pie our HR supervisor in the face for being the first to correctly answer a Christmas trivia question!

We wish that during this festive season, our outstanding team has discovered joy in lending a hand to each other and can keep the holiday sparkle alive, even in the tiniest of ways! We appreciate everything they have done for us and for our communities this holiday season!
